Opening of €10 million St Clement's Redemptorist College in Limerick

(27 Apr 2009)
THE message needs to go out about a new-found confidence in Catholic education in this country, a clerical educationalist said yesterday. Redemptorist Fr Seamus Enright was speaking at the opening of the €10 million St Clement's Redemptorist College in Limerick.
Proud principal Vincent Foley described the opening as "a great day for the Redemptorists, and a great day for the parents, students and staff."
Redemptorist Fr Enright said each Saturday and Sunday, the facilities at St Clement's are given over to members of the Polish community.
He said: "This shows the commitment of the Redemptorists to the wider needs of the community and the needs of a new vibrant community. We have students in this school from 22 different countries - the new Ireland, the new Limerick which you will find here in St Clement's."
